Who is your role model? My role model is my mom because she has gone through a lot just for my sister and me. She had to take care of us and she struggled a lot with my sister and me when we were little. My mom struggled because she couldn’t speak English when she first came to Washington, DC. She had no family here. All she had was my dad, and I am happy she is my mother.
My mother has been a great support in my life. When we were small she helped us in our homework. She would tell our teacher that we can’t get the homework and that she was sorry that we hadn’t completed our homework. My mom would stay downstairs with us doing the homework. When we didn’t understand, we would start to cry and she would be there with us crying along with us. She is always nice to us and she tells us what is right and what is wrong to do in life. Some years have passed and we have been getting help from my mom. She has still tried to help us if we can’t understand. She has been a great mother. I love that she is always there for us and that she most only wants us to see her as our mother but as our friend too.
I am happy that she has been here for me. I hope that she will be here for me when I get older, graduate college and have a job. I am thankful for what my mother has done for my sister and me. I will never forget what she has done for us. I will make her happy by doing my best to continue getting good grades. My mom is the best person in the world for me because without her I wouldn’t have gotten this far in life. I love her a lot.
My role model is my mom. I will be thankful for the rest of my life. I will tell her that she is my role model. If you have a role model, then tell them. They might appreciate the things you say. So what are you waiting for? Go ahead and tell them!
